“Priority Seating”? Hardly

In the McIntyre Theatre, there’s a small nook filled with hard plastic chairs. It would be understandable if you missed it, especially in the dark. The only thing distinguishing it from a storage space is a dark blue sign posted up reading: “Priority seating for the disabled.”
Sitting there is not a choice. If you have any kind of mobility device more intrusive than a cane, sitting there is a must. Not a big deal, right? It says “priority seating”, so it must be decent.
