In Karen Simpson’s letter to the future, the former president of the Student Representative Council (now the MSA) predicted flying cars and vitamin supplements in place of food. While neither have come to be (yet), Simpson was right in believing we would still appreciate a good Scotch whisky. A tiny bottle of Chivas Regal was her grand contribution to the time capsule, enclosed inside the wall of the Mohawk College Student Centre in 1986.
Now, the time capsule has been released from its brick enclosure and opened in the offices of the Mohawk Student Association.…
