Season’s Greetings?

With the temperatures dropping and the Christmas music playing in department stores, it is that time of the year again. The yearly debate and controversy surrounding what term do we say or put up on display is upon us. Nowadays, the politically correct term to use this time of the year is “Happy Holidays” or “Seasons Greetings” rather than “Merry Christmas.”
The signs are all around us, literally. More and more department stores are using “Happy Holidays” banners. The reason why? Saying “Merry Christmas” celebrates the Christian religion and excludes people of different faiths, like…
