Any hockey club faced with their captain being injured and not in the lineup for an elongated period, coupled with the loss of their top scorer would be struggling. But the Hamilton Red Wings, only needed time to acclimate their game through a surprising depth of scoring that has miraculously materialized.
The Corey Caruso, Connor Bramwell and Mitch Reid line has been on fire to say the least. 33 points for the trio in the last seven games and the three aren’t even playing their best hockey yet.
