Donors can be brave too

The Bravery Bead campaign kicked off at the Ancaster Blood Donor Clinic this week. For the month of February, Canadian Blood Services and McMaster Children’s Hospital is partnering up to ask residents in the Hamilton area not only to donate blood, but to do a little more
“We’re having new donors come in the month of February and they can decorate a bead that will go back to a child who has received a blood transfusion at McMaster Children’s Hospital,” said Denise Saulnier, community development coordinator for Canadian Blood Services.
