Toronto-based singer/songwriter Trish Robb kicked off the jam session with a handful of original songs before stepping back to act as judge and the evening’s host.

Ever since Danielle Beaudin was a little girl, music has been a big part of her life. When she was a young kid, she rallied together some neighbourhood friends to start a band with her.
“We would put on concerts in the backyard and make all of our parents come and watch, and dress up like the Spice Girls or something. Thought we were pretty cool doing that, but it was fun,” Beaudin recalled, laughing.

Sun gleamed off the painstakingly-waxed vehicles of every make, model, and year while the smell of gasoline and motor oil filled the air at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada’s (TMMC) North plant.  The parking lot, usually filled with employees’ daily drivers was full of classic collectables and modified imports for the second annual Toyota Show and Shine.
