Under the watchful eye of a record setting crowd of over 37,000 fans, teammates, classmates, scouts, family and friends, the McMaster Marauders and Laval Rouge et Or took to the field in the 48thVanier Cup in Toronto.
With back to back championship banners belonging to the Toronto Argonauts and Blue Jays above them, the Marauders tried to etch themselves into CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) history by repeating as champions and defeating the powerful Quebec team for the second straight year.
